Awakening Your Inherent Creativity: How to Write a Right-Brained Manifesto

Awakening Your Inherent Creativity Part 1: How to Write Your Own Right-Brained Manifesto

eWorkbook by Caroline Douglas

My life journey has taken me from From "Brain Damaged" to Right Brain Dominance. My head injury in 2000 saved my life because I was opened to the full power of the “right brain”, which is the creative side of the brain. I now live, work and operate from the right brain and have found immense amounts of joy and freedom in doing so.

My call to action is to invite more people to develop right-brained dominance, and feel this same freedom, joy, and creativity that I do.

This booklet will introduce you to my own Right-Brain Dominance Manifesto, which to me is central in my naming and claiming my right brain. Filled with images of my own original artwork inspired by my right-brained path, the 38-page booklet includes guidance to interact and play with the words in my manifesto, as well as develop your own Manifesto that will anchor and guide the creative force in your life.

Chant. Re-enchant. Repeat.: 4 Steps to Expand Your Art Through Your Dreams

This workbook is about helping you create a practice or process that combines dream-work and artwork.

Dreams were the portal through which my healing journey through art began. As an ARTbundance Coach, I love inviting clients to explore their dreamworlds and see how they inform their waking life.

I've gathered some of my favorite artwork that resulted from dreams, and added instructions for four projects to help you connect to your dreamlife to rejuvenate your art. I'm so glad to share it with you!

The stories are there first, and they come from my experiences wandering around in the world. They will resonate into bigger things, forces sweeping the planet, themes and archetypes. – writer Bob Shacochisbout this item. What's it about and what makes it interesting? Shards of Truth: Shattering the Myth of the Starving, Suffering Artist

Shards of Truth: Shattering the Myth of the Starving, Suffering Artist

eWorkbook by Caroline Douglas

My most fervent passions include creating art, sharing inspiration, helping others to awaken their inherent creativity, and shattering the myth of the starving, suffering artist.

Our inherent beliefs about what it is to be a “real artist” can truly hold us back. This fun workbook invites you to explore the myths of the starving, unhappy artist by examining the symbols and themes that run through in your life, so that you can hear your own whispers of joy.

You’ll be guided to respond to artwork and journaling prompts to release and heal myths about success, competition, money, form, and suffering in the artist’s world.

Allow yourself to dialogue with art and symbols in a new way and finally find freedom in these shards of truth.

Dealing With Criticism: Put a Halo Around Your Artwork

Criticism is something that all artists face. It's not something that goes away as we get more "successful." If anything, criticism can get even more intense. And by the way, my version of ‘successful’ is continuing to show up for your muse, your creative passion.

In this workbook, I share some of the things that have helped me most as I have not only survived criticism of my art, but actually thrived because of it.  The workbook includes stories, art challenges and journaling prompts to help you explore these rich topics:

  • Criticism and Personal History

  • The Artistic Termperament and Sensitivity

  • Criticism and Attraction

  • Internal and External Criticism

  • Art Challenges to Transform Criticism

The Energy of Completion: things to consider when your art pieces are finished

Artists hear a lot about how to sell art, but there is less said about what happens after the art is actually finished. This is a piece that is missing from our education, conversations, and internal dialogue. What happens around the finishing of the piece or after you sell the art?

I think it would make a big difference if we, as artists, were given more opportunities to explore this letting go process. We aren't taught this skill.

I created this eWorkbook to help artists explore what to do when your art is finished. It includes tips, journal questions, and tools to help artists make more work and move more art.

“Unfamiliar with the practice of hand reading, but trusting in Caroline’s integrity, I was surprised at the accuracy of the reading and the breadth of the information revealed. Definitely gained insights and also, as is true of the very best in self-revealing exercises like this, I felt honored in my unique nature.” ~ Elaine Walsh
