    Clay in Marrakech, March, 2019

    with Caroline Douglas

    Adventure in Creativity

Want to explore a unique culture filled with art? Would you like to find and express your creative inspiration in that very place?

Join us in discovering the Red City: Marrakech, Morocco with artist Caroline Douglas and Gwen Ware in March of 2019. This adventure will be an exclusive creative and cultural immersion filled with clay, food, travel, friendly people, shopping, and magic.

Our creativity will be fed by all the sites, sounds and smells of Marrakech. We will have the opportunity to create in a contemporary clay studio in the new city. We will hand build our own Hamsas and decorate them with the treasures we find in the secret flea markets plus create a personal talisman in honor of our trip.

    The Trip

Our 10 day journey will take us into the magical souks of the Red City to explore and find treasures. We will visit the coastal town of  Essaouira where we will experience the Atlantic Ocean from the African continent during a sunset camel excursion.  We will visit a Berber village in the Atlas Mountains.

Our stay will be in the beautiful Riad Maison 28 which is located in the heart of the Marrakech medina in a family neighborhood, within minutes walk to the famous Marrakech souks, historical sites, museums, gardens and a variety of the highest rated restaurants.  We will have the entire riad to ourselves with security and staff to assist us in any way.

We have access to the secret shopping experiences that we will share with you. We will have a henna/ cocktail party on the rooftop terrace and many more unexpected surprises!

All the planning is done for you but you will have plenty of free time to explore Marrakech, a major city in the Kingdom of Morocco. Come find your magic carpet and Rock the Kasbah with us!

You will leave with much inspiration and appreciation.
